Born in Philadelphia, PA, in 1970. 

Graduated with honors from Florida International University in Miami, FL, with dual degrees in Finance and International Business.  Member of Golden Key National Honor Society and Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity.

Hello, and welcome to my personal page at Daymark Realty!  As a second-generation Realtor, I've been exposed to the real estate business nearly all my life.  My father and mother were both full-time realtors, and part-time builders, in California and later, Florida.  That's where I first practiced real estate for six years, four of them as managing broker of a 23-agent office. 

My background includes sales and marketing in other highly competitive industries, including telecommunications and network services.  While studying in college, I worked full time for MCN, a maritime communications company based in Miami, FL.  This is where I learned to sell a unique product (at the time) and helped launch a new satellite service for the consumer yacht market.  My efforts contributed to record sales for the company, which was soon bought by a multinational conglomerate based overseas.  This allowed me to travel extensively, including most caribbean islands, South America, Central America, Australia and Japan.

A few years later, while working at AT&T Wireless, I was recruited by Telcordia Technologies to be their CALA (Caribbean and Latin America) Sales Director supporting national sales teams with annual sales exceeding US80 million dollars.  It was during this time that I perfected my listening and customer service skills and continually improved our sales production.  My efforts were recognized by my former employer who recruited me for a higher level management position and my family and I to Seattle, WA.  This was our first of three national relocations.

While attempting to sell our home in Seattle, my wife and I recognized a need for improved understanding within the real estate community.  When we moved back to Miami we decided to change careers and work in my family's real estate practice.  Our first year we struggled but we soon realized that our production increased when we stopped acting like other salespeople and were just ourselves.  Our next year we sold $2 million in real estate and nearly doubled our production every year thereafter.  In 2004 we built our first office building and later that year opened a national franchise at that location.  Real estate was growing at a rapid pace, but in early 2005 we began to see indications of the approaching slowdown.  With a newborn child, we made the decision to sell our home and business in early 2006, and moved the family once again to an area that offered greater prospects for growth: Raleigh, NC.
